Joseph Hegedus
Ministry Team Coordinator
Joseph Hegedus is a volunteer and serves as our Ministry Teams Coordinator. In his role, he helps our ministries by facilitating scheduling, providing technical assistance and training.
He served in the United States Marine Corps during the First Gulf War and went on to build several successful technology companies.
Joseph is very thankful for the opportunity to serve the people of St. Catherine’s and our wider community. He and his wife Marion, have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren.
While Joseph’s official role is to help ministries thrive you will also find him serving in other ways here at St. Catherine’s including Ushers and Greeters, Adult Acolytes, and Family Promise (a non-traditional program for homeless families). Outside of our doors we can often be found cooking breakfast for The Extension (a residential addiction treatment program for the homeless) and MUST Hope House (emergency homeless shelter). In addition, Joseph joins his wife Marion in support of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Atlanta. Holy Comforter is a unique place in the Diocese of Atlanta where a large portion of the parishioners live in group homes.
