* 10:00 am liturgy at Lake Allatoona
On Sunday, August 4 we will have the 7:45 liturgy at church, but our 10:00 am liturgy will be at Lake Allatoona. After we worship, there will be lunch, games and opportunities to get to know one another better. Fried chicken will be provided for lunch, please bring a side dish to share. Water will be available and you may bring beverages you like (please note that the park policies prohibit alcoholic beverages). Don't forget your chairs, blankets, towels and sunscreen.
At approximately 2:00 pm, all who wish to are invited to come back to the Youth House to help set up for our Family Promise guests and see its transformation into a home for our guests.
The location for our Day at the Lake will be the Galts Ferry Day Use Area, 7299 Rocky Lane, Acworth, Ga 30102, near Harbor Town Marina on Lake Allatoona (information and directions here). The cost is $5 per person, $25 max per family, which includes the pavilion, parking, chicken for our lunch, and games. St. Catherine's shirts are available to purchase ($10 for kids, $12 for adults).
