Serving Together
Serving God means serving each other and the world. The gift of serving is one of the most powerful things we can embrace as Christians.

You will meet Joseph and Rhonda below. They work to make our ministries thrive! We hope that you might find an opportunity that speaks to "who you are" and "where you are" right now.

Worship Ministries
When I first came to St. Cat's, I became an Usher completely by accident (there’s a funny story involving shorts and flip-flops — come find me on Sunday and I’ll tell you all about it!). That happy accident led me to meet people (lots of people) and before long, I went from being “the new guy” to truly feeling known.
To me, that’s what Mother Sarah and Father Trey mean when they talk about “Getting Connected.”
If you feel called to serve during worship, this is a great place to begin. The brief descriptions below will give you a sense of each ministry and where you might want to jump in. If you have any questions, feel free to email me, I’d love to talk with you!

Serving Christ in the world is one of the most powerful ways we can live out our faith. At St. Catherine’s, there are many opportunities to serve others and make a real impact.
The brief descriptions below will give you a sense of what each ministry does and help you discern where you might feel called to participate. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me, I’d be glad to connect!
Family Promise
We provide compassionate hospitality for families with children experiencing homelessness four times a year in our Youth House as a part of the Family Promise of Cobb County Program. Volunteers provide dinner, overnight oversight, and breakfast. Volunteers also help with homework and entertain
the children.
MUST Ministries / Hope House
Once a month, we volunteer to prepare and serve dinner and breakfast for the guests at Hope House. Hope House is a overnight homeless shelter here in Cobb County located on Bells Ferry Road run by MUST Ministries.
Bread Ministry
Once a week, volunteers go to Publix to pick up donated bakery items and deliver them to MUST Ministries where they are distributed to their guests experiencing homelessness.
Red Cross Blood Drives
St. Catherine’s hosts a blood drive every 8 weeks. Volunteers welcome donors and provide beverages and snacks.
Communities in Schools
Volunteers participate in a mentoring program that provides middle and high school students with adult mentors. Volunteers also host fiscal awareness and other educational programs to support the schools through Reality University.
