Family Promise is the leading national organization addressing the crisis of family homelessness. Since 2014 Family Promise of Cobb County has partnered with local congregations to provide shelter, meals, and support at one third the cost of a traditional shelter.
Case management services guide families as they work their way to stable housing. As a result, 81% of prior year graduates remained housed after one year. Family Promise’s focus is all about the children. When families are homeless, the children are the ones who suffer the most. St. Catherine’s and other partner churches and synagogues have provided whatever is needed to make a safe and secure place for families to get back on track to provide for their kids.
You again have an opportunity to help these folks provide for their children during their transition in two different ways:

Juice boxes and single serve snacks
Diapers and Pull-ups – will take all sizes, but currently a need for size 2 diapers and 4T Pull-ups
Full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash
“Quiet Bags” – Gallon size Ziploc bag with a few “quiet” items. Example: coloring book, crayons and a toy car for a young boy; puzzle book and craft kit for older girl… Please mark outside of bag with age range & gender (if applicable) – Age 3-5, 6-9, 10-12 (no 10-12 bags needed for boys)
