Interfaith Service 2026

The baptismal covenant asks us:  "Will you strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being?" Here's your chance to  make a difference.

The 2026 Interfaith Service will be 11/19/26 at Temple Kol Emeth. If you have been, then you know what a joyful service it is. There are multiple congregations and faiths represented and it is a wonderful evening. Everyone leaves feeling blessed, happy, and refreshed.

St. Catherine’s has been part of the planning for many years but the same faithful volunteers are tired. We would love to have more people from our congregation join us to plan the event. The planning committee meets every few weeks (either by Zoom or at Temple Kol Emeth, your choice). The work we do is to contact as many faith congregations as we can to get them to join us in celebrating together. We work on the logistics of the service itself and pick who we want to speak or be represented. It is truly God’s work.

If you can’t help us this year – but you have been to the service and know how wonderful it can be – please help us spread the word. If you have any suggestions, please contact Jan Potter (jcpotter@gmail.com) or Bettye Harris (bettyecharris@gmail.com), or the church office (stcats@stcatherines.org). If you have friends or contacts at other churches, please let us know who to contact.

This is your invitation to Be. The. Church. in the world. Please join us!
