No! Whatever your membership status, you are welcome to join us for worship and Christian education on Sundays, as well as any other St. Catherine's event.

You are welcome at St. Catherine's no matter your membership status. Becoming a member is an outward sign of commitment that formally joins you and your family with this congregation. Membership is a statement that you intend to become part of the congregation in a deeper and more meaningful way. Membership gives individuals certain privileges, such as running for Vestry, voting at the annual meeting, and serving the wider church as a representative at Council.

A member is one who has:

• Completed the Membership Application Form.

• Been baptized or confirmed.

• Attends corporate worship regularly.

• Prays, works, and gives (through a pledge) to spread the Kingdom of God.

Adults and their children may join St. Catherine's by being baptized. Typically, baptism is offered several times throughout the year on special Sundays. Contact The Rev. Trey Phillips (trey@stcatherines.org) or The Rev. Sarah Fisher (sarah@stcatherines.org) to learn more about baptism.

If someone comes to the Episcopal church from the Roman Catholic Church, or another denomination, and has already been confirmed, they can be “received” into The Episcopal Church by the bishop (in the same service as confirmation). We recognize their confirmation, having been done by a bishop in Apostolic Succession, as is done in our tradition.

Complete the Membership Application Form. Upon completion, we will notify your previous parish that you wish a “letter of transfer” from them. This applies only to Episcopal parishes.
