Simple Needs GA is an amazing non-profit organization whose focus is on serving the homeless as well as people coming out of homelessness in Cobb County. Their founder, Brenda Rhodes, requested that we please share the following link to items they especially need right now to help supply families moving into homes: simpleneedsgablog.com/drives.
The items highlighted in red are things they are either short on or out of. Simple Needs GA holds Donation Drives on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Please email them at brenda@simpleneedsga.org for their address or any questions about anything you’d like to donate. Their next Donation Drive (as of publication date October 28, 2020) is Saturday, November 7, 2020, and we hope you will please be generous.
FYI, as part of their ministry, Simple Needs GA supplies full-sized toiletry kits for guests at the Elizabeth Inn as well as the residents at the Men's and Women's Extension Centers, so there is great synergy between the organizations we support through Outreach at St. Catherine's.
