Great Oak Endowment Fund Grant Proposals Due, Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Have an idea that would strengthen the ministries of St. Catherine's? The Great Oak Endowment Fund provides grants for ministry projects, outreach, capital improvements, and other one-time needs beyond the operating budget.

Last year's grants totaled nearly $10,000 and supported new worship speakers, Flower Guild supplies, classroom whiteboards, Prayground development, a new library check-out system, and Parish Hall plumbing and water heater improvements. We encourage you to talk with your teams about what might really make a difference in your ministry, as we navigate current fiscal challenges.

Proposal Content

Each proposal should include a 1-page maximum length narrative in addition to an itemized budget including the following items:

• Ministry Team and name(s) of project leaders

• Description of project being proposed

• Rationale for the project and potential impact on the congregation

• Description of labor/volunteers needed

• Detailed budget for the project

• Projected timeline

• Contact info of contact person for questions or follow up

Proposals are due Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Please work with the appropriate ministry convener before submitting your request. Send completed proposals to the Great Oak Board c/o Harry Tear (click here to email Harry). Once all proposals have been submitted, the Great Oak Board will review & make recommendations to the Vestry. If you have any questions, please contact Harry Tear.
