Do you have a heart for St. Catherine's and a desire to help guide our parish into the future? We invite prayerful applications for a 3-year term on the St. Catherine’s Vestry.

Vestry members serve as faithful leaders of our parish, helping to steward the mission and ministry of St. Catherine's through prayer, discernment, collaboration, and care for our community. As we look toward the future, we seek individuals who are committed to the life of our parish and willing to listen for where God is leading us next.

To be eligible for vestry service, candidates must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have been a member of St. Catherine's for at least 12 months

  • Attend worship regularly

  • Have made and maintained a written financial commitment in 2026 and made a commitment for 2027

  • Be confirmed or received in the Episcopal Church

  • Be a member by transfer letter, confirmation, or reception

  • Be available to attend the Vestry Retreat on February 7-9, 2027

The following are not eligible to serve:

  • Retiring Vestry members

  • Spouses of current Vestry members

  • Staff members and their spouses

  • Members of the Rector Nominating Committee and their spouses

Applications are due November 1.

Apply using the Vestry application form here. Applications will be reviewed by the Vestry Nominating Committee, with a proposed slate presented to the Vestry in November. The final slate of 4 nominees will be presented to the parish in December and voted on at the Annual Parish Meeting in January.

Please keep this discernment process, the Vestry Nominating Committee, and all those considering a call to vestry service in your prayers.
