You Are Invited to Join St. Cats New Safety Ministry Team

One of every church’s primary desires is to create a safe, welcoming and worship-focused environment. At St. Catherine’s we believe it is so important that we are formalizing a ministry devoted specifically to the wellbeing of our members, students, staff and guests while attending church and preschool.

We believe that safety and sanctuary go hand-in-hand. A congregation can only fully turn its heart to worship when it feels secure in body and spirit. We are guided by faith, compassion and stewardship. We are taking a comprehensive approach to safety. This includes the safety of our campus, our buildings, our infrastructure, and how we protect each other while we are on our premises.

Our goal is not to create a culture of fear, but a culture of awareness, preparedness, and care — one that allows St. Catherine’s to remain the welcoming sanctuary we are called to be.

If you feel called to protect your sisters and brothers in Christ, email Nelson Gale -HERE-. We will be available to meet you personally at the Ministry Fair on Sunday morning August 23 rd, in the parish hall from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
