Green thumbs needed

The 9 weeks of construction on our 2021 Habitat house have flown by, and Saturday, August 28, the wrap up day, is "Landscape Day." If you are available to help distribute sod, plant greenery and don't mind "playing in the dirt," you are welcome to join our team this weekend.

The Cobb Interfaith Habitat Coalition with which we join to build Habitat homes has a mission statement of: We Build to Coexist We Coexist to Build and your help means more now than ever. The link to sign up for Saturday, August 28 (Landscape day) is: https://habitatnwma.org/cihc2021/ PARKING is at Sweetwater Mission, 6130 Hotel Street, Austell, GA 30106, and start time is: 7:45am. The home build site address is 6088 Austell Avenue, Austell, GA 30106. (The home build site is approximately 35 to 40 minutes from St. Catherine's.) We will likely be done by 2 pm or so, depending on the number of sign ups.

If you have any questions regarding this Habitat home project, please call or email Dave Daniels (scdave1@hotmail.com - 678.451.2148) and Connie Bergeron (connie@atlbergerons.net - 404.819.0891) All volunteers are welcome, with or without prior experience, and we would especially be grateful for your support on the final weekend.
